To make this fresh and easy pico de gallo, start by removing the seeds of the jalapeño. Then, finely chop the jalapeño and add it to the bowl. Next, squeeze half of the lime and crush the garlic. Add them to the bowl along with the salt, diced onion, and finely chopped cilantro. After that, remove the seeds from the tomatoes and chop them into tiny pieces. Thoroughly combine all of the ingredients and enjoy!

Ingredients 

  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/2 lime, squeezed
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white or sweet onion
  • 1 cup cilantro (about 1 bunch)
  • 6 Roma tomatoes

Instructions 

  • Remove the inside of the jalapeño with the seeds, finely chop it, and add it to a bowl.
  • Squeeze half of a lime into the bowl.
  • Crush the garlic and put it in the bowl as well. Then, add the salt.
  • Dice an onion and put it in the bowl. 
  • Wash and dry the cilantro, take it off the stems, finely chop it, and place it in the bowl. 
  • Slice the Roma tomatoes in half and remove the seeds. After that, chop the tomatoes into tiny pieces and add them to the bowl.
  • Thoroughly combine all of the ingredients in the bowl and enjoy!
