Keyword: fruit sparklers, watermelon sparklers, watermelon stars
Servings: 12 servings
- 1 seedless watermelon
- 1 pint blueberries
- bamboo skewers
- 1 star-shaped cookie cutter
- 1/2 cup 0-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon lime zest
Wash and dry the watermelon. Then, slice the watermelon into 1-inch thick rounds.
Press the star cookie cutter into the watermelon rounds to form watermelon stars.
Wash and dry the fresh blueberries. Then, press 4-5 blueberries through each skewer. Next, top each skewer with a watermelon star.
To make the lime yogurt dip, thoroughly mix the 0-fat Greek yogurt, honey, lime juice, and lime zest in a bowl. Dip the watermelon sparklers in the yogurt dip, serve, and enjoy!
- Evenly Slice: Ensure you evenly slice the watermelon into rounds of the same thickness, about 1 inch.
- Refrigerate: Chill the watermelon sparklers and yogurt dip in the refrigerator until ready to serve so they stay fresh.
- Leave Room: Ensure you leave room at the end of the skewers so you can hold them. This is why it’s best to add just 4-5 blueberries to each skewer.
