VIRAL COTTAGE CHEESE ICE CREAM

Viral cottage cheese ice cream is a delicious high-protein dessert. You only need 4 simple ingredients to make this strawberry cheesecake cottage cheese ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat 2% cottage cheese
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Add the cottage cheese, frozen strawberries, sweetener, and lemon juice to a high-powered blender or food processor and thoroughly blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Put a lid on the container and freeze the cottage cheese ice cream for 4-5 hours. Make sure to stir it every hour while it freezes so it doesn’t get icy. Once frozen, scoop the ice cream and enjoy!
  • You can freeze it overnight if you have a Ninja Creami. It will come out perfect. Mix once, then add 1 tablespoon of your milk of choice and re-mix in the Creami.

  • Cottage Cheese: Full-fat, low-fat, or fat-free cottage cheese will work.
  • Flavor: You can make other flavors of cottage cheese ice cream! Use your favorite frozen fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, or mixed berries instead of the strawberries in this recipe.
  • Storage: We recommend enjoying this cottage cheese ice cream once it is frozen, about 4-5 hours. If you store leftovers too long they will get icy.
