THE BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED BLUEBERRIES
Chocolate covered blueberries are the best delicious treat! They are super easy to make and the flavors of chocolate and blueberries work perfectly together!

- 1.75 ounce chocolate bar (we used a Trader Joe's dark chocolate bar)
- 1/2-1 cup blueberries
- finishing sea salt (we like Jacobsen) optional
- unsweetened flaked coconut optional
Finely chop the chocolate bar so it melts evenly and quickly.
Fill a saucepan with 1-2 inches of water and bring it to a boil on the stove. Put a heat-resistant bowl on top of the saucepan with boiling water and reduce the heat to a simmer.
Mix the chocolate in the bowl the entire time so it doesn’t burn. Make sure not to get any water in the chocolate unless it will seize and become unusable. Remove the bowl from the stove when there are still a few chunks of chocolate left so it doesn’t burn. Then, place the bowl on a towel to absorb any moisture and finish mixing the chocolate.
Add the blueberries to the bowl and mix them in the chocolate. Use ½ CUP of blueberries if you want them fully covered or 1 CUP of blueberries if you don’t want them completely covered. Optional: Add some finishing sea salt or unsweetened flaked coconut to the chocolate covered blueberries.
Place the blueberries on a sheet pan with parchment paper and let them cool. Or, place them in the fridge to chill. They are best enjoyed if they are chilled for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This hardens the chocolate and makes them taste great!
