- 16 ounces fresh strawberries remove the stems
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon stone-ground mustard or Dijon
Wash and dry the fresh strawberries. Then, cut off the stems.
Add the strawberries, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and stone-ground mustard to a blender.
Thoroughly blend the vinaigrette. Then, pour it into an airtight salad dressing bottle, airtight container, or mason jar and chill it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Storage: Store leftover vinaigrette in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- How To Prepare The Strawberries: Wash and dry the strawberries. Since the strawberries will be blended, just cut off the stems.
- Use Fresh Lemon: Freshly squeeze the lemon juice yourself.
- Chill The Vinaigrette: Place the vinaigrette in the fridge to chill while you make your salad. Then, drizzle it over the top when ready to serve.
- Vegan Option: To make this vinaigrette vegan, use maple syrup instead of honey.
