- 14 ounces firm tofu
- 1/4 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or sugar-free maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Drain and rinse the firm tofu with cold water.
Add the drained tofu, Dutch-processed cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to a high-powered blender.
Thoroughly blend the ingredients until smooth. Enjoy the mousse immediately or chill it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 30 minutes to a few hours or overnight.
- Tofu: Use firm or extra firm tofu in this recipe.
- Storage: Store leftover mousse in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Chocolate Chips: For another texture and burst of chocolate flavor, fold some mini chocolate chips into the mousse once blended.
