EASY MEDITERRANEAN TURKEY BURGER

- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 whole oven-roasted tomatoes
- 12-14 fresh basil leaves
- 4 ounces low-fat feta cheese
Combine the ground turkey breast, salt, pepper, granulated garlic, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
Finely chop the oven-roasted tomatoes and add them to the bowl. After that, finely chop the basil leaves and put them in the bowl. Add the low-fat feta cheese and thoroughly combine all of the ingredients.
Form 8 burger patties. Cook the burgers to your liking on a grill pan or barbecue. We used a grill pan to cook our burgers on medium heat for about 3 - 3 ½ minutes on each side. Then, top the burgers with your favorite condiments and bun of choice.
- Low-Carb Option: If you want to make these Mediterranean turkey burgers low-carb, you can use lettuce instead of a burger bun.
- Roasted Tomatoes: We used our delicious oven-roasted tomatoes in this recipe. They add so much flavor and are super easy to make!
