Ingredients

For The Pizza Crust

  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese fat-free, low-fat, or full-fat
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For The Pizza

  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded light Mozzarella cheese
  • optional pizza toppings, customized to your liking

Instructions

  • Make self-rising flour by mixing the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  • Add the cottage cheese to the bowl. Then, mix the cottage cheese into the flour mixture.
  • Use your hands to thoroughly knead the flour and cottage cheese until you have dough. Roll the dough into a ball.
  • Generously flour a work surface and the dough ball on top so it doesn’t stick when rolling. After that, use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a thin, round, 13-inch pizza crust.
  • Lightly spray a 13-inch pizza pan with oil. Then, transfer the pizza crust to the pizza pan. Next, add the sauce, cheese, and optional toppings. Bake the pizza at 425°F for 10-12 minutes. After that, let the pizza slightly cool, slice it, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Knead The Dough: Thoroughly knead the flour and cottage cheese to form the dough.
  • Crust: Don’t spread the sauce over the entire pizza, leave some room for a visible pizza crust.
  • Adjust: You can adjust the amount of sauce and cheese you add to the pizza crust to taste. Make your favorite pizza with this cottage cheese pizza crust.
  • Self-Rising Flour: If you have self-rising flour on hand, just use that in this recipe to combine with the cottage cheese. However, if you don’t have self-rising flour, make your own by mixing flour with baking powder and salt, as we specified for this recipe.
  • Storage: Place leftovers in an airtight container or wrap them with foil. Then, store them in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Reheat them in the air fryer or oven before serving again.
