Servings: 2 servings
- 1 small spaghetti squash (about 1-1.5 pounds)
- olive oil spray
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Carefully cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
Lightly spray the flesh of the spaghetti squash with olive oil. Then, sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Place the seasoned squash halves in the air fryer basket, with the cut side up. Air fry at 375°F for 18-22 minutes, or until fork-tender.
Let the squash cool slightly, then use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands. From there, serve as desired and enjoy!
- Spaghetti Squash: To ensure your spaghetti squash fits in the air fryer basket, use a small one that weighs between 1 and 1.5 pounds.
- Cutting Spaghetti Squash: If the spaghetti squash is too tough to cut, pierce it with a fork and microwave it for 1-2 minutes to soften it. This can make it easier to cut in half.
- Storage: Store leftover spaghetti squash strands in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
