AIR FRYER CORN ON THE COB

With this effortless and incredibly flavorful air fryer corn on the cob recipe, you can elevate the classic summer dish to a whole new level!

Ingredients

  • 2 ears of corn
  • olive oil spray
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 chopped fresh basil leaves optional

Instructions

  • Husk the corn and remove the silk.
  • Freshly grate the Parmesan cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, dried Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Spray both ears of corn with olive oil. Then, evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the corn.
  • Place the seasoned ears of corn in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry corn on the cob at 400°F (200°C) for 10-14 minutes, turning the corn halfway through so it cooks evenly. Once done, it will be tender and slightly browned. (The cooking time is the same whether you preheat your air fryer or not.)
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the corn on the cob from the air fryer basket. Top with the remaining freshly grated Parmesan cheese and optional fresh chopped basil.

Notes

  • Don’t Overcrowd: If you are cooking more than a few ears of corn, make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Rotate the Corn: Halfway through cooking, rotate the ears of corn to ensure they cook evenly on all sides.
  • Olive Oil Swap: You can substitute the olive oil with melted butter.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
