SLOW COOKER SHREDDED CHICKEN

- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 1-1 ½ pounds
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the seasoned chicken to the slow cooker. Then, pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 2.5-3 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, carefully remove it from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Then, use two forks to shred the chicken. Let the fully cooked shredded chicken cool and place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use it within 3-4 days. Or, let it completely cool and place it in freezer-safe containers. Then, freeze for 1-2 months.
