ROASTED TOMATOES IN THE OVEN
Roasted tomatoes are super easy to make in the oven and are full of delicious flavor! These oven roasted tomatoes only take about 5 minutes to prepare and are the perfect addition to salads, sandwiches, and much more!

- 1 pound Roma tomatoes, about 6-7 tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons garlic crushed
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
Wash and dry the Roma tomatoes. Then, cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise.
Add the garlic, Italian herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Then, add the sliced tomatoes to the bowl and thoroughly coat them in the seasonings.
Place the tomatoes face up on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Roast the tomatoes in the oven at 450°F for 35-45 minutes. Check them at 35 minutes to see if they are done. Once done, let them slightly cool and enjoy!
- Small Tomatoes: For small tomatoes, roast them at 450°F for 15-20 minutes.
- Roast Face-Up: Place the seasoned tomatoes face-up on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper
- Storage: Store any leftover roasted tomatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days
