- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- 2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder
- 1 tablespoon Dutch-processed cocoa powder or cacao powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar, maple syrup, sugar-free maple syrup, or sweetener of choice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the almond milk, chocolate protein powder, Dutch-processed cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract to a saucepan.
Thoroughly whisk the ingredients.
Heat the hot chocolate over medium-low heat on the stove until warm, whisking so it doesn’t burn.
