Ingredients

  • filtered water
  • fresh fruit of choice
  • frozen fruit of choice
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • blackberries
  • raspberries

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the fresh fruit of your choice or use frozen fruit. If the fruit is too large for the ice cube tray, cut the fruit into smaller pieces.
  • Add the fruit to each compartment of an ice cube tray.
  • Fill all of the ice cube tray compartments with filtered water. Optional: Boil the filtered water and let it cool. Then, boil the water and let it cool again. Once the water is completely cooled, fill the ice cube tray. This step is optional but recommended if you want the water to have a higher chance of being clear when the ice cubes freeze. Otherwise, the ice cubes may appear cloudy.
  • Place the ice cube tray in the freezer overnight. Once the fruit ice cubes are frozen, add them to water or your beverage of choice and enjoy!
