Servings: 6 bagels
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
Add the flour, baking powder, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and pumpkin puree to a bowl. Thoroughly combine the ingredients. Feel free to use self-rising flour in place of the flour, baking soda, and salt if you have it.
The dough might be a little sticky so add some flour to your work surface so that it’s easier to roll. Cut the dough into 6 even pieces. Take each individual piece and roll it into the shape of a bagel. Pinch the ends together so they stick. Optional: Egg-wash the top of your bagels for color.
Place the bagels on a sheet pan with parchment paper. Bake them at 350℉ for 25-30 minutes. These pumpkin bagels are delicious with cream cheese, maple butter, and jam!
- Storage: Leftover pumpkin bagels will last up to 2 days when stored in the fridge.
- Serving: We love enjoying these pumpkin bagels with cream cheese, maple butter, and jam.
