EASY HIGH PROTEIN STRAWBERRY FROZEN YOGURT

I am super excited to be sharing this high-protein strawberry frozen yogurt with you! I love strawberries and frozen yogurt, so there’s nothing better than combining the two. This frozen yogurt is delicious and super easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup 0-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, sugar-free maple syrup, or honey optional

Instructions

  • Add the frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and optional sweetener to a high-powered blender.
  • Thoroughly blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Enjoy right away for a soft, creamy texture. For a firmer consistency, place the mixture in the freezer for 2-4 hours. If using the Ninja Creami, transfer the mixture to a Ninja Creami pint container, secure the lid, and freeze it overnight. When ready, use the Ninja Creami machine to spin the frozen yogurt. For the creamiest results, add a splash of milk and re-spin the mixture.

Notes

  • Greek Yogurt Options: Use any fat percentage you like, full-fat, 2%, or non-fat all work well. We used non-fat Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • Frozen Fruit Swaps: You can replace the strawberries with frozen cherries, raspberries, mixed berries, or your favorite fruit if preferred.
  • Sweeten to Taste: We like adding about one tablespoon of sweetener, but it’s totally up to you. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness to your liking, or skip it altogether.
