Servings: 15 servings
- 1 box of mini phyllo shells (15 shells), we used Athens
- 2 ounces light brie
- 2 tablespoons dried cranberries, finely chopped
- 1 ½ tablespoons walnuts, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons honey or hot honey to drizzle
Finely chop the dried cranberries and walnuts.
Remove the rind from the brie. Then, use a 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon to scoop the brie into 15 balls. After that, press down each ball of brie. (Each brie cup will have about 1/2 teaspoon of brie).
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Then, add each phyllo shell to the sheet pan.
Add a piece (1/2 teaspoon) of brie to each phyllo shell.
Add about 1/4 teaspoon of chopped walnuts to each phyllo shell.
Top each shell with a heaping 1/4 teaspoon of chopped dried cranberries.
Bake the brie phyllo cups at 350°F for 6-7 min.
Drizzle with honey or hot honey and serve immediately.
- Chop The Cranberries and Nuts: Finely chop the dried cranberries and walnuts so you can sprinkle them on top and evenly distribute them in each brie cup.
- What Brie To Use: Use light brie or regular brie. You can even use mini brie bites and cut them into smaller pieces.
- Add Pecans Instead: If you don’t want to use walnuts, substitute them with pecans. Roasted pecans or candied pecans are great options.
