For Caramel Apple Nachos:
- 1 medium apple
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce regular or sugar-free
- 1 teaspoon of chopped pecans or walnuts
For Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Apple Nachos:
- 1 medium apple
- 2 tablespoons of PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
- 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons almond milk, milk of choice, or water
- 1 teaspoon mini chocolate chips or sugar-free chocolate chips
Core the apple, cut it in half, then slice it into even slices, about ¼ inch thick.
Arrange the apple slices on a plate.
Caramel Apple Nachos: Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with chopped pecans or walnuts.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Apple Nachos: Mix the PB2 and almond milk in a small bowl until smooth, drizzle it over the apple slices, then sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
Apples to Use: Crisp apples like Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, Fuji, or Granny Smith work best for apple nachos.
