AIR FRYER RADISHES

These crispy and flavorful air fryer radishes are a fantastic low-carb alternative to roasted potatoes. They are a quick, easy, and delicious side dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound radishes
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1-2 medium garlic cloves crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Remove the greens from the radishes. Then, wash and dry them. From there, cut both ends off and then cut each radish into quarters.
  • Add the cut radishes to a large bowl. Then, add the olive oil, crushed garlic cloves, Italian herbs, and salt to the bowl.
  • Thoroughly mix to evenly coat and season the radishes.
  • Add the seasoned diced radishes to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry the radishes at 375°F for 15-18 minutes. Shake the basket halfway to ensure even cooking. They are done when they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Once done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and enjoy them warm.

Notes

  • Serving: Serve these air fryer radishes on their own as a side dish or snack. They are also delicious with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • Radishes: We used red radishes in this recipe. If you have daikon radishes, you can use them instead. You can chop daikon radishes into smaller pieces for a crispier texture or air fry them whole. Also, you can use other types of radishes such as white, watermelon, or pink radishes.
  • Italian Herbs Substitution: If you don’t have a blend of Italian herbs, use 1/8 teaspoon of oregano and 1/8 teaspoon of dried basil.
  • Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
